On the Mississippi Coast a roll-off rental usually includes about one to two weeks, and published lists from Biloxi-area haulers show extra days billed at roughly ten to thirty dollars each beyond that. Some local haulers price per dump instead of by the day. In practice the limit is the agreement, the spot the box sits in, and the weather, since a loaded box should not ride out a hurricane.

Six boxes, about thirty seconds. You pick when to be called back, and that is when the phone rings.
Or call (228) 250-0380Haulers serving Biloxi do not all start the clock the same way. An Ocean Springs list allows up to 14 days on its 15 and 20-yard boxes and charges a daily fee after that. A Gulfport list includes 14 days in its pricing table, though its own FAQ describes a 21-day standard, and it adds that a shorter window may apply when demand for boxes is high. A Harrison County hauler prices each dump as one flat figure and posts no daily rental window at all. Read the agreement, not the headline, because the same word "rental" can mean any of these.
The extra-day charges published by Biloxi-area haulers run from about ten dollars to thirty dollars a day. A few days over on a slow job is a modest add. A box forgotten for a month is not. The ranges, with sources, are on the pricing page.
Most overstays here come from somebody else's schedule:
When the job is waiting, a swap or a pickup-and-return later is often cheaper than paying for empty days.
The Atlantic season runs June 1 through November 30, and it is not theoretical here. In October 2026 a Hurricane Watch covered coastal Harrison County as Isaias moved toward the Gulf Coast, and Biloxi opened self-serve sandbag sites on Main Street, Wells Drive, Oaklawn Road and Old Woolmarket Road. A roll-off loaded with loose lumber, shingles and sheetrock is exactly the kind of material that should not be sitting in a yard when tropical-storm winds arrive. When a storm is in the forecast, call for the haul early. Every crew on the coast wants a truck the same day, and after landfall the right-of-way fills with debris piles that can block the route back to your box.
A container on private ground can stay as long as the agreement allows. One set in the street is a different matter: it sits in public right-of-way, it may need the city's approval, and every extra day is another night drivers have to steer around it. Keep street placements to the shortest window the job allows. The details are on Can You Put a Dumpster on the Street?.
Biloxi's trash guide says contractor-generated waste, including construction debris, is not collected at the curb, and neither are concrete, asphalt or dirt. So ending a rental early and piling the rest by the road is not an option. Plan the window around the whole tear-out, including the last bits of trim and flooring.
Sizing for each kind of job is on What Size Dumpster Do I Need?, and longer remodels are covered on construction and renovation dumpsters.
Before delivery, ask for the included days, the daily rate after them, whether the hauler can retrieve the box early during a storm, and how much notice it needs to pick up. With those answers the end date is never a surprise.
How Long Can You Keep a Dumpster If the answer here points at a repair, call (228) 250-0380 with the address and what the job is, and ask for the price before anything is booked.
